Liz has over 17 years experience in treating people of all ages, including newborns, pregnant women, elite athletes and the elderly. However, she has a special interest in Women’s health, supporting women through their journey of pregnancy and beyond, chronic pelvic pain, the treatment of babies and children and assisting people in trauma recovery.
Liz has a strong desire to continue learning and has completed extensive studies in the areas of; women’s health, having completed training in both internal and external pelvic floor diagnosis and treatment to help with all aspects of pelvic floor dysfunction, paediatrics, pre and post-natal care, osteopathy in the cranial field, biodynamics in the cranial field and visceral osteopathy.
In 2011 Liz graduated from a post graduate certificate in neonatal and paediatric manual therapy at Victoria University. This was another stepping stone in the pursuit of excellence as it provided Liz with the skills to diagnose infant musculoskeletal disorders, assess spinal and primitive reflexes, and monitor developmental milestones.
Liz is a qualified yoga and prenatal yoga teacher and mindfulness teacher. She loves to share yoga, breath awareness and mindfulness with her patients to assist in the healing process.
Liz is passionate about osteopathy. The emphasis of Liz’s treatment is on the person and not their symptom. She will endeavor to identify the cause of your pain and formulate a treatment plan specific to your needs, to not only help with your presenting complaint but also help restore overall balance.. Through body awareness, mindfulness and breath work Liz will aim to empower you to achieve your health goals.
Liz recently relocated to Brisbane with her husband and 4 yo daughter and is looking forward to the lifestyle change this move will bring.
Liz will be availabe on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
